I stood. "Catch...Strays...?" My eyes took turns widening and narrowing.

Jasmine let out a whimper, sensing all eyes on her. She sprawled onto the floor and covered her eyes. "That darn black cat convinced me! I don't know anymore!"

I flattened my ears and straightened my tail as I walked over to her, gently nipping her neck to let her know there was no need to get too dramatic or anything. I sat down with a sigh. "Does the human know you well?" I looked at the ground.

Jasmine shifted her weight. "Well, kind of.." She peered at the dog and yawned. "Wh- why?"
