Friecher the Stray

I walked around, nose pinted to the ground, I inhaled deeply, searching for somekind of scent. I stopped and stalked low to the ground, a squirrel. I stalked forward, ears pinned and then pounced. the squirrel began to run away, but I already caught it in my jaws before it could get to far. I snapped the squirrel's neck, killing it. Looking around, padded over to a bench and jumped ontop of it. Laying down, I swallowed my prey.

Kelin walked out of a little wooded area and onto the sidewalk in front of the bench with the other dog. Not noticing the other dog she lay down on the side of the sidewalk. Kelin checked the sidewalk for people before ripping the fur off the bunny.

My eyes narrowed on the small female and I licked my lips at her plump bunny. I was much larger than the female, I could easily steal her kill. I walked over and barred my teeth. I stared at her, narrowed eyes, tail erect, fangs bared. "Give me your rabbit, fleabag.'' I snarled and threatened her by lifting a front paw, flexing my claws

Kilen nudged it over to him without a care. "I wasn't going to eat it." she stood and stretched her limbs. "Never sure, it might have rabies." she said jokingly.

I rolled my eyes and ate the rabbit in one bite. "I dont give a damn.."

"Mhm..." she sat back once again, eying the male. He looked beaten up. "So... What's it like being a stray?"

She stared at the male. "How's life been treating ya?"

I rolled my eyes. "Being a stray is the best life. Life is horrible right now," o said sarcastically.

She looked him up and down. "I can tell..."

I roll my eyes. "Wow...street pet." I muttered.

"Street pet? Where is my owner if I'm a street pet then?"

(changed it and deleted her owner so now she iz stray)

shake my head. "Nevermind. But not all street pets have one specific owner."

She lifted a brow. "Seriously? I know that pets have one owner, strays don't have owners, but I thought street pets had one owner that they occasionally go back to."

"Some street pets have no owners, but will sometimes spend the night at some two-legged's house or spend time with them or be fed by them. They aren't allways OWNED exactly."

"Mhm... And how do ya know so much 'bout street pets?'

"'Cuz I used to be one...always loving and loyal, until I learned humans kill, so I became 100% independent."

"They tried to... kill you?"

I nod.

"Uh... why?"

I shrugged. "They just took my into this white room, set me on a metal table, strapped me down, and got out a iv pack with a skull abd crossbones in it and took a giant needle and started to aim the needle for my shoulder, that's when I broke the Velcro straps and attacked."

"Oh..." she really didn't have any reply so she quickly changed the subject. "Where do you live?"

I almost burst out wth laughter as she asked that question. "Nowhere..." I soon became serious.

"Uh... What's so funny?" she looked around, but didn't see or hear anything.

"Strays like me don't live anywhere,sweetheart, we just roam around." I circled her. "We only find official territory if it is PERFECT."

Her head followed him. "Ah... So, did you find your PERFECT place thing yet?"
